The Florinilla, a member of the well-known Medinilla family, is the result of 15 years of intensive plant breeding. Its compact habit, naturally glossy leaves, and waterfalls of brightly coloured pink inflorescences make this plant a real delight for the living room. In the entire collection of Florinilla cultivars, ‘Bella’ is the only one available at this time. But Corn. Bak BV is hard at work on expanding the colour palette so that new varieties of Florinilla displaying other colours and shapes are expected to be introduced by 2013.
